Protect Your Project, Protect Your People

When it comes to commercial abatement, restoration, and demolition in Los Angeles, there’s no room for error. A single missed step or compliance failure could halt a project, trigger regulatory penalties, or expose your organization to extensive legal liability. We take this responsibility seriously, and our strict, in-depth processes are purpose-built to prevent errors and ensure full compliance without sacrificing speed or quality.

What Safety and Compliance Mean to Us

Here, safety and compliance are at the heart of everything we do. Regulatory requirements and safety concerns inform every step of our process, from our initial site assessment and permit checks to the final walk-through. During the project, our field specialists work under close supervision to ensure containment protocols are closely followed, and testing and air quality monitoring are executed and documented in real time. You’ll receive full clearance records as soon as the job is completed, so your team can move forward with confidence.

Safety First, Always

Regulatory Compliance Management

Our team handles all permitting, agency notifications, and documentation for you, ensuring you stay focused on your business during emergencies. We know California’s regulatory requirements inside and out, including the following bodies:

  • OSHA
  • EPA
  • SCAQMD
  • CA State

With Quality Environmental, you never have to chase down paperwork or worry if the right agencies have been notified of your property work.

Comprehensive Monitoring and Testing

Because we deal with hazardous materials, our team is extremely thorough in air monitoring and clearance testing. We conduct continuous air monitoring throughout the project to track asbestos, lead, and mold levels, and we coordinate with independent third-party environmental consultants for official clearance testing upon project completion. Your building will not reopen until it’s safe to do so, and we’ll provide you with the full documentation to confirm site safety.

Handling Hazardous Materials

Our team is trained to handle delicate, dangerous substances safely and in full compliance with California disposal requirements. We’ll safely transport asbestos, lead, mold, and infectious materials to approved facilities, and we’ll obtain the necessary documentation to confirm safe disposal.

Site-Specific Health and Safety Planning

Every QE project begins with a careful consultation that allows our team to build a health and safety plan tailored to your property. We’ll identify hazards, establish containment zones, and define site-specific protocols to ensure your project is executed properly. All team members will be fully briefed on your site’s requirements before work begins.

Background media

Quality Environmental did a great job removing the asbestos in our home in 2 floor areas (mastic glue under linoleum). They gave us the best quote of anyone we checked with. Conrad was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly as they came up. A bonus was they demoed the floor on top and hauled it all away. I would recommend them for sure!

Frequently Asked Questions Safety & Compliance

Does Quality Environmental handle all compliance documentation internally?

Yes. We manage all permits, agency notifications, site safety plans, test results, and clearance documentation at our headquarters. While we regularly work with independent consultants to execute testing, documentation is never outsourced or shared with outside parties.

Will I receive a compliance report at the end of my project?

Yes. Every client receives a complete compliance package at project close for their records, insurance, and regulatory reporting. Your package will include test results, permits, compliance checks, and more.

How does Quality Environmental ensure worker safety on job sites?

All field specialists are trained in advance on site-specific protocols and will arrive at your site with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This may include full hazmat suits and respirators when required. Our supervisors ensure the crew is maintaining safety protocols and conduct ongoing testing to confirm compliance and a safe environment.

What happens if hazardous materials are discovered mid-project?

Our team is trained to identify and respond to unexpected materials and site changes without delay. We immediately implement a protection plan, stopping work in the affected area to assess the project scope and update our safety plans accordingly. All relevant agencies will be notified, and our team will proceed in accordance with the full compliance protocols in place.
